  1. Great work, as always. I particularly like how you mix in references from the low to the high brow. All sorts of brows, really. Really shines in this one!

As for the episode that was reviewed, I kind of wonder if it had a different writer than usual, who then proceeded to work in some subtle pokes at the formula. Or maybe the regular writer just got a little tired. In a way, this episode seems a little like what a modern remake would be like, I imagine.

Further note: I’m not an expert in any way, shape or form, but I could actually imagine a deadly virus being created by mistake. For instance, a carrier retrovirus could mutate in an unexpected way and turn out to have disastrous side-effects. …. Not in a 60s lab, though.

  2. lol.

“You’re not only banning ugly people from your “colony”…but you’re killing them because of scars. Otherwise beautiful people because of scars. You do know that Lamarkism is pretty much bolloks, right? People with scars won’t have children born with scars, Mr Face-Covered-In-Acne-Scars!”

  3. Meddling Monk?! I get that reference! Even though you were clearly refereneing the Hartnell era, I want Adam to team up with Pertwee’s Doctor (aka the best Doctor). There’s really similar type characters. And thery’re both complete pimps. It’s a perfect match.
