  1. Are you refering to Creepshow? It was made in 1982 and had was a horror anthology film which short animated bits between sequences.
The man turning into plants was the secend sequence “The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill” Or weeds.
    Hope this helped 😀

    • Alas Iv seen creepshow and its not the same thing. In the thing I remember seeing it was only animated and it was a karmic punishment for the guy.

But thanks for making the suggestion 🙂

  2. Regarding the shape-shifter debate:

Changing density of something will change size, but not mass. Let us take a gallon of liquid water, it weighs 8 pounds. (Well, 8.35 pounds.) Whether it is liquid (moderately dense, compact) or steam (very permeable, large) or solid (very dense, moderately large) the mass will remain the same. The size is very different in each state, but the overall mass remains unchanged. (Weight is a measure of the force of gravity on mass so the weight of a given object will be different in different gravitational fields.)

Like Omega said, in the case of shape shifters that change size, that mass has to go somewhere, else the weight and mass will not change. In the case of the Hulk, Bruce would have to be be very dense and the Hulk would be very light weight for his size unless he had some way to adjust his mass when he changes. And as Hagan said, Odo is another great example of shape shifting not well thought out, either he has a way to deal with gaining and losing mass that we were never told about or it is an oversight on the part of the writers. Physics, how does that work?

Either way. You’re both correct in some aspects.
