  1. Liked your zoo review – one of the actors with the shite British accents is Billy SLaughter, not HOmicide Life on the Street’s James Slaughter – a mate of my mate Jon Alvarado’s friend Jacob “Little Drifter” Bittens.

I thought Slaughter’s accent was the worst since Herschell Gordon Lewis in A Taste of Blood, only to discover that Slaughter’s debut was in LEWIS’ Blood Feast 2! Maybe Herschell taught him.

  2. HOmicide Life on the Street’s James Slaughter – a mate of my mate Jon Alvarado’s friend Jacob “Little Drifter” Bittens. A Jim Slaughter was also in DIsney’s Morning LIght, Ben Johnson’s Soggybottom USA, the indiewire Minneapolis st paul film festival doc and anime Burn Up.

Back to Neverending Story, the old couple who help Atreyu, Sydney Bromley and Patricia Hayes I feel both should have been in Who at some point but weren’t. Both were in lots of UK film and TV, Bromley was Melvyn Hayes’ dad in Quatermass II the serial who gets shot by the guards, and was one of the tramps in American Werewolf, gets killed off in loads of UK horror, while Hayes was Fin Raziel in Willow, and played tea ladies, bag ladies, dinner ladies, in UK sitcoms eg Till Death Us Do Part.
